While OPAC was in the early conceptual phase of the project. The project’s $330 million concept includes a 2,800-seat amplified hall, 1,800-seat acoustical hall, offices, classrooms, banquet rooms, rehearsal spaces, theater-support spaces and areas for retail, dining and refreshment. The University of Central Florida will operate an undergraduate and graduate performing arts campus at the center. The university will have a 600-seat recital hall, 200-seat small performance theater, and a highly adaptable “black-box” theater (moveable seats and stage). In addition, a 750-car parking garage will serve the center’s patrons and students.
